BEIJING (Reuters) - The London Metal Exchange (LME) said on Monday it had lifted a temporary suspension, with immediate effect, on storing metal produced by aluminium producer Rusal (HK:0486) in LME-approved warehouses, after the United States formally lifted sanctions against the Russian firm.
"For the avoidance of doubt, this means that all Rusal metal can be placed (in LME-approved facilities) on warrant," the exchange said in a notice to members, warehouse companies and their London agents.
