Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Communication, Technology and Biomed sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.47%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Paz Oil (TA:PZOL), which rose 3.10% or 1820 points to trade at 60450 at the close. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) added 2.67% or 670 points to end at 25750 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) was up 1.89% or 29 points to 1562 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA), which lost 5.21% or 970.0 points to trade at 17650.0 in late trade. Partner (TA:PTNR) declined 4.10% or 82 points to end at 1917 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) shed 3.72% or 329 points to 8515.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 301 to 93 and 107 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.22% or 0.56 to $46.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.18% or 0.57 to hit $48.72 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 2.42 to trade at $1268.98 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.25% to 3.5404, while EUR/ILS rose 0.33% to 3.9652.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 97.22.
