Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Insurance, Biomed and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which rose 2.00% or 11.7 points to trade at 595.6 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) added 1.51% or 24 points to end at 1611 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was up 1.43% or 1040 points to 73520 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 2.19% or 50 points to trade at 2237 in late trade. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) declined 1.30% or 110 points to end at 8321 and Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) shed 1.26% or 350 points to 27350.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 248 to 155 and 24 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.34% or 0.16 to $47.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.30% or 0.15 to hit $49.83 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.43% or 5.21 to trade at $1224.41 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.36% to 3.5150, while EUR/ILS rose 0.24% to 3.9899.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 95.94.
