Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Communication and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 fell 0.64%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Nice (TA:NICE), which rose 1.17% or 290 points to trade at 25050 at the close. Discount (TA:DSCT) added 0.15% or 1.0 points to end at 671.0 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) was up 0.12% or 5 points to 4300 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Elbit Systems (TA:ESLT), which lost 2.23% or 690 points to trade at 30200 in late trade. Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) declined 2.20% or 2400 points to end at 106900 and Isramco L (TA:ISRAp) shed 2.16% or 1.7 points to 76.9.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 227 to 102 and 127 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.00% or 0.59 to $59.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.20% or 0.79 to hit $66.41 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.59% or 7.00 to trade at $1190.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.10% to 3.8588, while EUR/ILS rose 0.72% to 4.3400.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.69% at 94.45.
