Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Insurance and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 lost 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Poalim (TA:POLI), which rose 1.60% or 32 points to trade at 2030 at the close. Leumi (TA:LUMI) added 1.32% or 20 points to end at 1540 and Isramco L (TA:ISRAp) was up 0.90% or 0.7 points to 78.3 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which lost 2.06% or 2400 points to trade at 114100 in late trade. Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) declined 2.02% or 35 points to end at 1699 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) shed 1.44% or 99 points to 6770.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 174 to 171 and 110 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.31% or 0.18 to $57.85 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.39% or 0.89 to hit $62.84 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1187.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.08% to 3.8799, while EUR/ILS fell 0.06% to 4.2203.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.14% at 97.52.
