Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 fell 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Bezeq (TA:BEZQ), which rose 1.31% or 9.8 points to trade at 758.1 at the close. Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) added 1.30% or 330 points to end at 25790 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) was up 0.63% or 10 points to 1600 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 2.83% or 101 points to trade at 3465 in late trade. Isramco L (TA:ISRAp) declined 2.43% or 1.8 points to end at 72.4 and Gazit Globe (TA:GZT) shed 2.02% or 81 points to 3920.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 177 to 167 and 101 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.68% or 1.24 to $45.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.73% or 1.33 to hit $47.40 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.36% or 4.75 to trade at $1311.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.28% to 3.7823, while EUR/ILS fell 0.32% to 4.2124.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.12% at 96.17.
