Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Biomed, Insurance and Communication sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 1.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL), which rose 1.08% or 1.8 points to trade at 168.4 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) added 0.58% or 13 points to end at 2246 and Paz Oil (TA:PZOL) was down 0.05% or 30 points to 56990 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG), which lost 2.90% or 600 points to trade at 20070 in late trade. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TA:TEVA) declined 2.74% or 159 points to end at 5649 and Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) shed 2.52% or 116 points to 4489.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 302 to 103 and 12 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.21% or 0.10 to $47.33 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.25% or 0.13 to hit $52.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 7.59 to trade at $1329.79 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.26% to 3.5762, while EUR/ILS fell 0.68% to 4.2408.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 92.82.
