Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Communication, Biomed and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which rose 5.71% or 269.00 points to trade at 4,976.00 at the close. Camtek Ltd (TASE:CAMT) added 4.98% or 2,130.00 points to end at 44,880.00 and Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) was up 3.16% or 450.00 points to 14,710.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Enlight Ene (TASE:ENLT), which lost 3.19% or 204.00 points to trade at 6,186.00 in late trade. Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN) declined 3.13% or 59.00 points to end at 1,825.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) shed 2.93% or 43.00 points to 1,426.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 324 to 135 and 80 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.98% or 0.78 to $80.50 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.89% or 0.75 to hit $85.00 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.42% or 9.75 to trade at $2,338.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.21% to 3.72, while EUR/ILS rose 0.27% to 3.99.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 104.91.
