Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Biomed, Real Estate and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG), which rose 3.60% or 560 points to trade at 16100 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) added 3.48% or 138 points to end at 4104 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was up 2.19% or 350 points to 16340 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Israel Corp (TA:ILCO), which lost 4.40% or 2660 points to trade at 57780 in late trade. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) declined 3.25% or 48 points to end at 1427 and Discount (TA:DSCT) shed 1.41% or 11.0 points to 768.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 175 to 172 and 96 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.23% or 0.11 to $48.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.29% or 0.14 to hit $49.09 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.20% or 2.35 to trade at $1185.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.23% to 3.8730, while EUR/ILS rose 0.38% to 4.0910.
The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 101.73.
