U.S. stocks traded higher, with the Dow Jones gaining around 150 points on Thursday. Here are some big stocks recording gains in today’s session.
- PFSweb, Inc. (NASDAQ: PFSW) jumped 48.3% to $7.43 after GXO Logistics announced it will acquire the company.
- Taseko Mines Limited (NYSE: TGB) rose 22.3% to $1.59.
- Canopy Growth Corporation (NASDAQ: CGC) jumped 18.4% to $1.3750.
- MYT Netherlands Parent B.V. (NASDAQ: MYTE) gained 15.4% to $4.3300 after the company reported fourth-quarter financial results.
- Nikola Corporation (NASDAQ: NKLA) climbed 13.4% to $0.9869. Nikola CEO Steve Girsky on Wednesday termed the several cases of fire reported with its battery electric trucks a ‘setback’ and detailed the measures being undertaken to fix the issue.
- Aurora Cannabis Inc. (NASDAQ: ACB) gained 10% to $0.8801.
- Uniti Group Inc. (NASDAQ: UNIT) gained 9.7% to $5.29.
- International Game Technology PLC (NYSE: IGT) jumped 9.6% to $32.96 following a report suggesting Apollo is said to be among the potential suitors trying to acquire IGT's global gaming unit.
- Virtu Financial, Inc. (NASDAQ: VIRT) rose 9.2% to $18.45. Citigroup upgraded Virtu Finl from Neutral to Buy and announced a $20 price target.
- Montrose Environmental Group, Inc. (NYSE: MEG) surged 8.6% to $34.86. Needham reiterated Montrose Environmental with a Buy and maintained a $54 price target.
- Sinclair, Inc. (NASDAQ: SBGI) gained 8.4% to $12.92.
- WW International, Inc. (NASDAQ: WW) gained 6.7% to $11.54.
- Sunrun Inc. (NASDAQ: RUN) gained 6.6% to $15.10.
- Yum China Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: YUMC) climbed 5.2% to $55.97.
