Proactive Investors - Helium One Global Ltd (LON:HE1H) has announced significant progress at its Rukwa project site in Tanzania, paving the way for the phase II drilling programme next month (September).
Key preparatory work at the Tai-C well site, including an access road and well pad, have been completed.
With these milestones in place, Helium One said its focus shifts to transporting the rig and its associated equipment to the well site and initiating the setup of the Predator 220.
Alongside these efforts, the final stages of drill crew selection are underway, and preparations for the imminent arrival of the camp, third-party equipment and other crucial components continue.
"Helium One is now another step closer to commencing our drilling programme at Tai-C," said chief executive Lorna Blaisse.
"We are very impressed with the high standard of work that TNR has carried out and we look forward to moving ahead into the next stage of the project.
"The team has been working incredibly hard and we will now commence the mobilisation of equipment onto the well pad and finalise the drill crew as we gather momentum ahead of the September spud."
