Guild Esports PLC (LON:GILDG) (LSE:GILD, OTC:GULDF) announced a second sponsorship agreement in the space of a week, this time with Hyperice, a manufacturer of athlete recovery technology and devices.
Hyperice has signed with the Esports team for a year and becomes the seventh sponsor to join in a global deal.
As part of the agreement, Hyperice is the company’s official wellness partner with effect from today, according to a statement.
The California-based company will receive exclusive naming rights to the recovery room at Guild's headquarters in London, which provides recovery and wellness technology for the London-listed firm's professional players.
Hyperice is also a partner with major sports clubs and athletes, including Tottenham Hotspur, tennis star Naomi Osaka and footballer Erling Haaland.
"Guild is delighted to welcome Hyperice to our growing list of world-class sponsorship partners,” said Guild chief executive Karl Hourd.
“Physical wellbeing is a key component of in-game performance in esports, and with this deal, Guild's roster of athletes will have access to the very best in sports recovery technologies.”
