Bellway (LON:BWY) is unlikely to have good news on housing on Wednesday while the impact of its increasingly disruptive row with Florida’s governor will overhang Walt Disney’s numbers and returning chief Bob Iger's plans. Also in the US, Flutter is likely to post its first profit from stateside sportsbook arm FanDuel.
Wealth platform Hargreaves Lansdown (LON:HRGV) has been in the City’s crosshairs recently due to the new consumer fair treatment rules that came into effect this month. What it has to say on that in Thursday's update will be worth noting as will any impact on fees.
For housebuilder Persimmon (LON:PSN), expect similar comments to Bellway, while bookie Entain (LON:ENT) is all about US arm BetMGM
Watch out too for a heavy ex-dividend day with payments predicted to knock more than 32 points off Footsie at the open.
Friday is an economic day with a snapshot of the UK’s economic health and US producer inflation numbers to set the mood.
