Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Technology, Basic Materials and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.42%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV), which rose 0.88% or 0.39 points to trade at 44.69 at the close. Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V) added 0.70% or 0.33 points to end at 47.73 and Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) was up 0.46% or 0.15 points to 32.96 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:METSB), which lost 1.67% or 0.105 points to trade at 6.170 in late trade. Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) declined 1.49% or 0.37 points to end at 24.49 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) shed 1.44% or 0.145 points to 9.895.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 81 to 51 and 20 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for April delivery was down 1.34% or 0.76 to $56.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in March fell 1.06% or 0.57 to hit $53.26 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.84% or 10.25 to trade at $1231.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.44% to 1.0736, while EUR/GBP fell 0.20% to 0.8625.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 100.07.
