Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.85%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 2.48% or 1.20 points to trade at 49.64 at the close. YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) added 0.91% or 0.06 points to end at 6.64 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was up 0.32% or 0.07 points to 21.61 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:WRT1V), which lost 2.09% or 1.20 points to trade at 56.15 in late trade. Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) declined 2.08% or 0.75 points to end at 35.35 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) shed 2.04% or 0.145 points to 6.955.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 84 to 61 and 11 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for January delivery was up 0.18% or 0.11 to $60.24 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.22% or 0.12 to hit $54.02 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.46% or 5.85 to trade at $1277.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.22% to 1.1633, while EUR/GBP fell 0.29% to 0.8809.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.26% at 94.47.
