Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Telecoms and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.50%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO), which rose 4.26% or 0.42 points to trade at 10.29 at the close. Fortum Oyj (HE:FORTUM) added 1.20% or 0.17 points to end at 14.39 and TietoEVRY Corp (HE:TIETO) was up 0.76% or 0.14 points to 18.64 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:TYRES), which lost 2.00% or 0.17 points to trade at 8.32 in late trade. Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) declined 1.66% or 0.30 points to end at 17.75 and Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) shed 1.43% or 0.12 points to 8.30.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 98 to 73 and 19 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for November delivery was down 4.04% or 2.90 to $68.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 4.63% or 3.18 to hit $65.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 7.55 to trade at $2,540.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.10% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.01% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 101.63.
