Benzinga - On Friday, Twitter CEO Elon Musk announced that the social media platform would make public the algorithm for recommending tweets.
The outspoken, billionaire entrepreneur said the code used for recommending the posts would become open source by March 31.

Musk also announced that Twitter would use artificial intelligence to "detect and highlight manipulation of public opinion" on its platform in the coming months.
"In the months ahead, we will use AI to detect & highlight manipulation of public opinion on this platform. So let's see what the psy ops cat drags in …," he tweeted.
The Twitter CEO had previously announced that Twitter's algorithm would be made open source in February.
