Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 2.10% to hit a new 52-week low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 5.25% or 11.3 points to trade at 226.4 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 0.69% or 0.25 points to end at 36.62 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 0.28% or 3.0 points to 1067.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which lost 7.25% or 700 points to trade at 8950 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 7.16% or 725 points to end at 9395 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) shed 4.82% or 12.80 points to 252.60.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 113 to 37 and 12 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.17% or 1.48 to $45.19 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 3.16% or 1.52 to hit $46.62 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.55% or 20.00 to trade at $1308.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.48% to 6.6971, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4411.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.50% at 97.27.
