Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.41%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 0.33% or 1.2 points to trade at 367.2 at the close. DSV (CO:DSV) fell 0.12% or 0.5 points to end at 403.9 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was down 0.21% or 0.6 points to 290.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 3.16% or 13.7 points to trade at 420.2 in late trade. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 2.39% or 6.40 points to end at 261.20 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) shed 2.27% or 4.6 points to 198.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 98 to 23 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.89% or 0.82 to $44.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.98% or 0.91 to hit $46.95 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.05 to trade at $1247.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.16% to 6.5737, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4362.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.79% at 96.34.
