Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 1.42% or 5.4 points to trade at 386.6 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 0.67% or 1.4 points to end at 211.9 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 0.62% or 2.1 points to 338.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which lost 2.85% or 4.1 points to trade at 139.8 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 2.62% or 30.0 points to end at 1114.0 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) shed 2.08% or 5.5 points to 259.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 103 to 47 and 13 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.17% or 0.59 to $49.93 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.28% or 0.66 to hit $50.80 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.80% or 10.15 to trade at $1273.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.05% to 6.8325, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4378.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.06% at 98.70.
