Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.79%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 0.40% or 1.4 points to trade at 354.2 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 0.29% or 0.7 points to end at 238.2 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 0.06% or 0.2 points to 323.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 5.88% or 79.0 points to trade at 1264.0 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.87% or 210 points to end at 11040 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) shed 1.74% or 4.8 points to 271.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 63 to 57 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.61% or 0.31 to $50.29 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.67% or 0.36 to hit $53.17 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.27% or 3.35 to trade at $1254.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.06% to 6.9788, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4375.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 100.47.
