Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.40% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which rose 1.59% or 0.77 points to trade at 49.24 at the close. DSV (COP:DSV) added 1.11% or 2.4 points to end at 218.4 and GN Store Nord (COP:GN) was up 0.66% or 0.9 points to 137.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (COP:GEN), which lost 2.48% or 14.5 points to trade at 571.0 in late trade. Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) declined 1.10% or 8.0 points to end at 718.0 and FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) shed 0.96% or 3.0 points to 309.9.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 98 to 45 and 8 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.74% or 0.91 to $51.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.61% or 0.34 to hit $56.51 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.70% or 8.10 to trade at $1160.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.46% to 6.7464, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4623.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.39% at 96.50.
