Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Healthcare and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.33% to hit a new 6-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which rose 3.76% or 2.45 points to trade at 67.65 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 1.49% or 4.6 points to end at 313.6 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 1.44% or 3.6 points to 252.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which lost 1.42% or 3.9 points to trade at 271.5 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 1.06% or 8.5 points to end at 792.5 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) shed 0.79% or 2.3 points to 289.2.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 66 to 50 and 24 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.56% or 0.27 to $48.51 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.80% or 0.40 to hit $50.59 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.28% or 3.65 to trade at $1313.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.22% to 6.6392, while EUR/DKK fell 0.07% to 7.4440.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.27% at 95.64.
