Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.96% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which rose 0.72% or 6.60 points to trade at 922.00 at the close. DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) added 0.61% or 7.50 points to end at 1,245.50 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 0.52% or 0.80 points to 156.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which lost 3.35% or 9.60 points to trade at 276.60 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 3.32% or 5.50 points to end at 158.50 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) shed 1.76% or 7.30 points to 407.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 80 to 49 and 25 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 3.83% or 2.63 to $66.08 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 3.30% or 2.37 to hit $69.47 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 9.95 to trade at $2,542.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.77, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 101.64.
