Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.96%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which rose 2.05% or 58.00 points to trade at 2,882.00 at the close. NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) added 1.08% or 6.50 points to end at 610.50 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 0.48% or 4.00 points to 836.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which lost 1.74% or 2.10 points to trade at 118.80 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) declined 1.63% or 210.00 points to end at 12,650.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) shed 1.44% or 180.00 points to 12,340.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 78 to 56 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.37% or 0.31 to $83.69 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.55% or 0.48 to hit $87.08 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 1.50 to trade at $2,337.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.04% to 6.95, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 105.48.
