Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.44%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nets A/S (CO:NETS), which rose 1.06% or 1.30 points to trade at 123.80 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 0.61% or 0.23 points to end at 37.75 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 0.26% or 1.3 points to 493.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which lost 1.75% or 4.50 points to trade at 252.80 in late trade. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 1.04% or 3.9 points to end at 372.9 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) shed 0.92% or 3.9 points to 418.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 59 to 56 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.28% or 0.15 to $53.93 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.43% or 0.24 to hit $56.05 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.45 to trade at $1238.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.01% to 7.0011, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4331.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 100.86.
