Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 2.43% or 10.5 points to trade at 443.2 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 1.82% or 7.2 points to end at 402.2 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 1.43% or 6.8 points to 482.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which lost 3.24% or 12.3 points to trade at 367.7 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 2.22% or 200 points to end at 8815 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 1.75% or 166 points to 9298.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 60 to 54 and 26 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.33% or 1.45 to $63.58 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 2.09% or 1.38 to hit $67.43 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.42% or 5.60 to trade at $1312.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.61% to 6.0753, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4489.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 89.89.
