Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 2.46% or 34.0 points to trade at 1414.0 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 2.40% or 11.5 points to end at 490.2 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was up 2.20% or 6.0 points to 278.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 2.64% or 10.2 points to trade at 376.3 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 1.42% or 9.5 points to end at 658.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 1.00% or 140 points to 13800.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 77 to 38 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.40% or 0.63 to $45.67 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.95% or 0.45 to hit $47.97 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 5.67 to trade at $1220.37 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.50% to 6.5171, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4369.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 95.53.
