Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.67%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which rose 2.06% or 4.9 points to trade at 242.4 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.20% or 2.6 points to end at 218.5 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 1.19% or 0.44 points to 37.39 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which lost 1.34% or 5.5 points to trade at 405.8 in late trade. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) declined 1.14% or 2.9 points to end at 251.7 and Genmab (CO:GEN) shed 1.06% or 12.0 points to 1118.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 86 to 60 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.24% or 1.58 to $47.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 3.55% or 1.80 to hit $48.88 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.07% or 0.95 to trade at $1275.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.07% to 6.7770, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4385.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 98.36.
