Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrials, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.60%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which rose 3.48% or 290 points to trade at 8630 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 3.37% or 290 points to end at 8905 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 3.15% or 7.6 points to 248.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 1.18% or 11.5 points to trade at 960.0 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 1.07% or 4.8 points to end at 443.6 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) shed 0.02% or 0.1 points to 412.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 86 to 61 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.96% or 0.46 to $48.18 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.61% or 0.30 to hit $49.27 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.26% or 3.25 to trade at $1277.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.11% to 6.5633, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4382.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.14% at 94.40.
