Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.45%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 4.20% or 14.7 points to trade at 364.7 at the close. Nets A/S (CO:NETS) added 3.16% or 3.90 points to end at 127.20 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 2.00% or 11.5 points to 586.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which lost 1.16% or 7.0 points to trade at 595.5 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 0.63% or 4.0 points to end at 629.0 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) shed 0.33% or 1.2 points to 367.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 60 to 54 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.63% or 0.28 to $44.74 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.90% or 0.42 to hit $47.34 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 1.87 to trade at $1256.47 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.38% to 6.6461, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4366.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 97.19.
