Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Chemicals and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 1.15% or 1.7 points to trade at 149.0 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 1.06% or 4.3 points to end at 411.0 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 1.03% or 2.80 points to 275.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 1.23% or 13.0 points to trade at 1045.0 in late trade. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) declined 0.47% or 3.0 points to end at 630.5 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) shed 0.36% or 0.5 points to 138.1.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 81 to 59 and 25 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.36% or 0.61 to $45.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.44% or 0.68 to hit $47.94 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.48% or 6.45 to trade at $1347.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.25% to 6.6285, while EUR/DKK rose 0.03% to 7.4443.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.24% at 95.03.
