Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.29%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 1.90% or 7.1 points to trade at 381.0 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 1.63% or 20.0 points to end at 1249.0 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 1.55% or 4.7 points to 307.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 0.50% or 45 points to trade at 8970 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 0.47% or 40 points to end at 8550 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) shed 0.43% or 1.0 points to 229.8.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 84 to 53 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.55% or 0.25 to $45.82 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.54% or 0.25 to hit $46.88 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.04% or 0.45 to trade at $1224.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.33% to 6.9848, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4416.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.30% at 100.68.
