Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.26%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 5.20% or 22.9 points to trade at 463.1 at the close. William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) added 1.58% or 1.8 points to end at 116.0 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 1.03% or 4.5 points to 443.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa), which lost 2.10% or 185 points to trade at 8635 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 1.78% or 165 points to end at 9085 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) shed 0.92% or 2.9 points to 311.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 76 to 67 and 13 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.02% or 0.01 to $47.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $48.95 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.37% or 4.45 to trade at $1183.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.01% to 7.0481, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4399.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.03% at 101.76.
