Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 1.69% or 7.0 points to trade at 420.0 at the close. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) added 1.44% or 3.8 points to end at 268.3 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 1.28% or 3.10 points to 244.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 0.61% or 70 points to trade at 11490 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 0.38% or 5.0 points to end at 1328.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 0.36% or 40 points to 10980.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 64 to 61 and 13 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 1.58% or 0.83 to $53.46 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.77% or 0.98 to hit $56.30 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.28% or 15.25 to trade at $1211.25 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.86% to 6.8957, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4363.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.76% at 99.66.
