Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.51%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 5.53% or 22.50 points to trade at 429.70 at the close. Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) added 4.98% or 42.50 points to end at 895.50 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) was up 4.05% or 6.10 points to 155.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CSE:GMAB), which lost 2.37% or 44.00 points to trade at 1,809.00 in late trade. ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) declined 1.11% or 1.40 points to end at 124.90 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) shed 0.83% or 1.30 points to 154.70.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 60 to 52 and 32 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 1.05% or 0.69 to $66.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.65% or 0.45 to hit $69.64 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 1.65 to trade at $2,541.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.05% to 6.77, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 101.63.
