Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Real Estate, Healthcare and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 1.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 2.63% or 11.5 points to trade at 448.4 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 2.11% or 7.9 points to end at 381.9 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 1.96% or 5.6 points to 290.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which lost 3.50% or 275 points to trade at 7575 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 3.29% or 270 points to end at 7948 and DSV (CO:DSV) shed 0.04% or 0.2 points to 515.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 79 to 42 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.94% or 0.69 to $74.14 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.93% or 1.50 to hit $79.11 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.50 to trade at $1254.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.95% to 6.3810, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.75% at 94.29.
