Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Oil & Gas and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 1.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which rose 2.13% or 250.00 points to trade at 11,975.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 2.03% or 230.00 points to end at 11,570.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.70% or 19.00 points to 1,136.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb), which lost 4.24% or 114.00 points to trade at 2,574.00 in late trade. NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) declined 2.51% or 14.00 points to end at 544.50 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) shed 0.91% or 3.60 points to 391.80.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 70 to 59 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.77% or 0.53 to $69.25 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.19% or 0.14 to hit $72.92 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.77% or 20.49 to trade at $2,685.29 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.00% to 7.07, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 106.01.
