Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.90%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 2.34% or 22.9 points to trade at 1002.5 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) added 1.92% or 7.4 points to end at 392.4 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 1.63% or 6.30 points to 392.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 0.30% or 1.3 points to trade at 438.5 in late trade. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) declined 0.05% or 0.4 points to end at 751.2 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) gained 0.21% or 0.6 points to 290.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 69 to 48 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.14% or 0.10 to $73.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $77.28 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.07% or 13.30 to trade at $1255.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.05% to 6.3987, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4516.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 94.43.
