Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.44% to hit a new 52-week high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 1.68% or 6.6 points to trade at 400.0 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 1.65% or 4.0 points to end at 246.8 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 1.61% or 6.4 points to 404.3 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 2.02% or 260 points to trade at 12620 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.55% or 190 points to end at 12040 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) shed 0.48% or 0.40 points to 83.65.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 73 to 53 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.19% or 0.09 to $47.14 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.38% or 0.20 to hit $52.66 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 6.41 to trade at $1328.61 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.29% to 6.2629, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4371.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 92.70.
