Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.29%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 2.71% or 5.5 points to trade at 208.7 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 2.48% or 13.4 points to end at 553.6 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 1.12% or 5.3 points to 478.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 4.56% or 17.4 points to trade at 364.3 in late trade. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 2.55% or 5.50 points to end at 210.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) shed 1.60% or 6.7 points to 412.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 71 to 55 and 13 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.27% or 0.18 to $66.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.58% or 0.42 to hit $71.64 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.40% or 19.00 to trade at $1341.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.36% to 6.0425, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4462.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.33% at 89.51.
