Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Biomed, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 added 0.34%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which rose 2.29% or 750 points to trade at 33450 at the close. Teva (TA:TEVA) added 2.18% or 440 points to end at 20590 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) was up 1.28% or 1000 points to 79400 in late trade.
Biggest losers included International (TA:FTIN), which lost 1.51% or 76 points to trade at 4950 in late trade. Melisron (TA:MLSR) declined 1.46% or 250 points to end at 16850 and Leumi (TA:LUMI) shed 0.99% or 14 points to 1406.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 210 to 148 and 88 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.63% or 1.17 to $45.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.43% or 1.14 to hit $48.11 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.26% or 3.55 to trade at $1346.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.29% to 3.7985, while EUR/ILS rose 0.04% to 4.2544.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.23% at 95.46.
