a16z announces 25 projects for its CSX Spring 2024 program in London

In latest crypto news, a16z crypto has revealed participants in the Crypto Startup Accelerator (CSX (NASDAQ:CSX)) Spring 2024 program.

According to an announcement, 25 projects will take part in the crypto accelerator program that starts in London this week.

Founders of the 25 early-stage startups are from eight countries: UK, Israel, Japan, Poland, Romania, Switzerland, UAE and the US. They will all gather in London, interacting with each other over 10 weeks.

The a16z crypto team will also offer guidance and resources aimed at accelerating projects’ development as they move towards market launch.

Projects are across DeFi, AI, DePIN and other industry segments

With crypto on a roller coaster in recent months, sentiment for what lies ahead for the ecosystem has increasingly flipped bullish.

The developer community has rode this outlook to build next-generation protocols and projects, and a16z crypto has picked the top 25 that are most promising.

Participating in CSX Spring 2024 are founders from projects such as AminoChain, Collar Networks, Compass Labs, Hungry Cats Studi, Launcher, MagicBlock, and NEBRA Labs.

Others are Neynar, NodeKit, Nosh, OpenLayer, OpenTrade, Playmint, Roux, Sablier, Scrypted, as well as Spire, Strobe, taralli labs, Tata Bazaar, Tweed, Tranched, TITLES, Valyu Network (LON:NETW) and zkPassport.

As a16z noted in an announcement, the projects are from across multiple sectors of the blockchain and crypto industry.

These include decentralised finance (DeFi), gaming, artificial intelligence (AI), consumer apps, payments, dev tools and decentralised physical infrastructure network (DePIN).

As an example, the AminoChain project is building a decentralised bio-sample marketplace.

a16z crypto has previously invested in projects such as Lido, Mysten Labs, and LayerZero. In February, the platform led the series B round for Ethereum restaking project EigenLayer.
