Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 3.59% to hit a new 3-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 0.50% or 0.17 points to trade at 33.97 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) fell 0.94% or 5.0 points to end at 524.5 and William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) was down 1.39% or 8.5 points to 601.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems (CO:VWS), which lost 7.49% or 33.1 points to trade at 408.9 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 5.10% or 44.0 points to end at 819.0 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 4.43% or 360 points to 7765.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 150 to 13 and 2 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 6.41% or 2.00 to $29.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 6.43% or 1.99 to hit $28.89 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 1.85% or 19.90 to trade at $1093.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.03% to 6.7983, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4635.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.59% at 98.53.
