Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Financials and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb), which fell 0.08% or 0.5 points to trade at 630.5 at the close. Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA) fell 0.19% or 1.5 points to end at 786.5 and DSV (COP:DSV) was down 0.46% or 1.1 points to 237.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Coloplast A/S (COP:COLOb), which lost 2.70% or 13.3 points to trade at 479.7 in late trade. Genmab (COP:GEN) declined 2.70% or 18.5 points to end at 666.0 and Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) shed 2.23% or 8.0 points to 351.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 98 to 60 and 5 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.52% or 0.26 to $50.70 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.26% or 0.14 to hit $56.80 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.21% or 2.30 to trade at $1104.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.04% to 6.8200, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4613.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.77% at 97.42.
