Investing.com - Crude oil futures were lower during the Asian session on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for June delivery traded at USD56.23 a barrel at time of writing falling 0.13%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD56.16 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD55.74 and resistance at USD58.63.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.17% to trade at USD98.41.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for June delivery fell 0.27% to trade at USD62.72 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD6.49 a barrel.
