Investing.com - Gold futures were lower during the U.S. session on Wednesday.
On the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, Gold futures for December delivery traded at USD1218.50 a troy ounce at time of writing falling 0.29%.
Earlier, it traded at a session low USD1216.30 a troy ounce. Gold was likely to find support at USD1208.80 and resistance at USD1237.00.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.37% to trade at USD85.13.
Elsewhere on the Comex, Silver for December delivery fell 0.55% to trade at USD17.682 a troy ounce while Copper for December delivery rose 0.57% to trade at USD3.052 a pound.
