On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for January delivery traded at USD73.92 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.24%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD73.94 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD73.66 and resistance at USD77.83.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.00% to trade at USD87.96.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for January delivery rose 0.18% to trade at USD78.25 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD4.33 a barrel.
