Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (COP:DSV), which rose 0.04% or 0.1 points to trade at 244.7 at the close. GN Store Nord (COP:GN) fell 0.34% or 0.4 points to end at 119.0 and Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) was down 0.69% or 2.0 points to 286.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (COP:GEN), which lost 4.13% or 27.0 points to trade at 627.0 in late trade. FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) declined 3.15% or 7.1 points to end at 218.3 and Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) shed 3.07% or 10.4 points to 328.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 110 to 39 and 9 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 2.82% or 1.29 to $44.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.56% or 1.25 to hit $47.35 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.09% or 12.50 to trade at $1133.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.43% to 6.6367, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4607.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.33% at 96.05.
