Investing.com - Crude oil futures were higher in Asian trading hours on Friday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange, Crude oil futures for December delivery traded at USD80.94 a barrel at time of writing rising 0.22%.
Earlier, it traded at a session high USD81.03 a barrel. Crude oil was likely to find support at USD79.44 and resistance at USD82.88.
US Dollar Index, which tracks the performance of the greenback versus a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.07% to trade at USD86.30.
Elsewhere on the ICE, Brent oil for December delivery rose 0.04% to trade at USD85.97 a barrel, with the spread between the Brent oil and Crude oil contracts stood at USD5.03 a barrel.
